Newark travel guide
United States · Top sights · trending spots
Newark is the New York gateway that puts you twenty minutes from Manhattan by train. It is less a destination in itself than the back door many travellers prefer, because it clears faster than JFK.
Newark has its own draws too: the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, and the Portuguese and Brazilian restaurants of the Ironbound district — a surprisingly good place for one last meal before flying home.
