   A temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, dedicated in 1984 and the twenty-seventh then in operation. Only members in good standing enter; the grounds and the visitor centre are open to anyone.

   Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist

   The Catholic cathedral of Idaho and seat of the diocese of Boise, built of local sandstone in Romanesque revival form. It joined the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, and the rest of its parish block followed in 1982 within the Fort Street historic district.

   A mausoleum in Morris Hill Cemetery in Boise in Idaho. Tourtellotte and Hummel designed it and it was built in art deco reinforced concrete in 1937; it was listed on the National Register in 1982.

   A municipal park in downtown Boise in Idaho. It was made in 1907 on land given by Thomas Davis, and the Boise Art Museum, the state history museum and the zoo all stand within it.

    Old Idaho State Penitentiary

    A historic site east of Boise in Idaho. It was built as the territorial prison in 1870 and used from 1872 to 1973, growing from a single cell house into a group of buildings inside a sandstone wall 5.2 metres high.
