   Cali Zoo

   Ten hectares along the Cali river holding some 1,200 animals of around 180 species, from lemurs to condors. A foundation has run it since 1981, rebuilding the enclosures around Colombian species and a large walk-through butterfly house.

   Christ the King statue

   A twenty-six metre Christ on the Hill of Crystals west of the city, put up in 1953 to mark fifty years since the end of the Thousand Days' War. The road up is steep and the whole Cauca valley opens out from the base.

   The Catholic cathedral of Cali, Colombia, and seat of the metropolitan archdiocese. Dedicated to the apostle Peter, it was declared a national monument on 12 March 1982.

   El Gato del Rio

   A sculpture on the riverbank in Cali in Colombia. Hernando Tejada made it and it was installed on 3 July 1996; with the Belalcázar monument and Cristo Rey it has become an emblem of the city.
