   Cathedral of the Sacred Heart

   The cathedral of the Catholic diocese of Fairbanks, a wooden church of 1904 from the gold-rush years and one of the oldest buildings in the city. The diocese it serves covers most of northern Alaska and is among the largest in area in the United States.

   Immaculate Conception Church

   A former cathedral on Cushman Street in Fairbanks in Alaska. Built in 1904, it was the first Catholic church in interior Alaska, and it was moved across the Chena river to its present site over the winter of 1911-12.

   University of Alaska Museum of the North

   A museum of natural history, culture and art on the Fairbanks campus of the University of Alaska. It is the only research and teaching museum in Alaska accredited by the American Alliance of Museums.
