   Hulihee Palace

   A seaside house on Alii Drive built in 1838 by the governor of Hawaii island and later a holiday residence of the Hawaiian kings. The Daughters of Hawaii have kept it as a museum since 1927, showing koa furniture and royal belongings.

   Kona Hawaii Temple

   The seventieth temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was announced on 7 May 1998 and stands at Kailua-Kona on the island of Hawaii, the second temple built in the state.

   Amy B. H. Greenwell Ethnobotanical Garden

   A garden near Captain Cook given over to the plants Hawaiians brought with them or found here, laid out across the terraces of an old Kona field system. Closed from 2016 while its management changed, it reopened in 2019 under a volunteer trust.

   St. Michael the Archangel Church

   A Catholic parish church on Aliʻi Drive at Kailua-Kona on the island of Hawaii. It belongs to the diocese of Honolulu and continues the history that began when Kamehameha III proclaimed religious freedom by edict of toleration on 17 June 1839.
