   Sainte Anne Marine National Park

   The main mosque of the Seychelles, built at Bel Air above Victoria in 1982 with help from the Gulf. Its green dome and single minaret serve the small Muslim community of Mahe.

   Anse Intendance

   A wide beach on the southwest coast of Mahe with no reef offshore, so the Indian Ocean swell breaks straight onto the sand. Hawksbill and green turtles nest here between October and February, and no road runs down to it.
