   Saint-Malo Cathedral

   The Catholic cathedral of Saint-Malo, dedicated to Vincent of Saragossa, and a French national monument. It was built on the site of a church of the seventh century, in a mixture of Romanesque and Gothic under Bishop Jean de Châtillon in the twelfth.

   Fort-la-Latte

   A castle on the northeastern coast of Brittany, four kilometres southeast of Cap Fréhel and thirty-five kilometres west of Saint-Malo. It was built in the fourteenth century on a rock jutting into Fresnaye bay and is among the principal sights of the Emerald Coast.

   Solidor Tower

   A fortress of three linked towers at the mouth of the Rance in Brittany. Duke John IV of Brittany had it built between 1369 and 1382 to control the river when Saint-Malo refused to recognise his authority.
