   Jiangxin Temple

   A Buddhist temple on the islet in the middle of the Ou river at Wenzhou, in use since the Tang. Twin pagodas stand at either end of the island, which was once a customs post for ships coming upriver.

   Myokoji Temple

   A Buddhist temple at the southern foot of Songtai hill, founded under the Northern Song and rebuilt many times since; the halls standing today date from the 1980s. It keeps an old bronze known as the pig-head bell, and a Song pagoda of a thousand Buddhas stood before it until 1951.
