Aitutaki travel guide

Aitutaki is a triangular lagoon some fifteen kilometres across, with a volcanic island at one corner and coral motu strung along the rest — regularly named among the finest lagoons anywhere.

A lagoon cruise is the day. At One Foot Island the post office on the sand will stamp a passport, a ritual older than any of the resorts. Rarotonga is forty-five minutes away by light aircraft.
