   Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park

   A limestone range on the west coast of Palawan, 80 km north of Puerto Princesa, where a navigable river runs underground for several kilometres to the sea. UNESCO listed the park in 1999 and it was named one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature in 2012; boats reach it from the village of Sabang.

   A mountain in central Palawan, the highest of the Thumb Range, standing on the ultramafic rock that runs the length of the island. The Spanish called it Monte Pulgar, from which the English name is translated.
